The Heart of Ohio Sussex Spaniel Club was founded in 2008. Our goal is to educate the public on the Sussex Spaniel as a Breed. To ensure and promote ethical breeding through the use of recognized Health Testing (Star Program), to support the American Kennel Club, Sussex Spaniel Club of America and other AKC recognized clubs in Ohio.
Since 2008 we have continued to strive and build the Heart of Ohio Sussex Spaniel Club. Our membership continues to grow to where we have members in California, Connecticut, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, North and South Carolina, Oregon,Texas, Virginia, and Canada.
All our members are in good standing with the American Kennel Club.
We welcome anyone who maybe interested in the breed whether or not you own a Sussex.
Please contact any of the Officers/Breeders with any questions you may have. We are always happy to hear from fellow dog lovers and we openly welcome those who have an interest in Sussex Spaniels or who just want to be involved with a AKC Licensed club.
